Moi girls register drop in national exam performance

The Students and the teaching staff of Moi Girls High School Eldoret were today disappointed by the announcement of last year’s KCSE exams. The national schools dropped by 3 points this year compared to last years mean score of 9.803 to 9.480. New Principal, Jennifer Cheruiyot announced that according to the schools expectation they were targeting a mean score of 10.2 in these years KCSE exams. She encouraged candidates sitting for these years’ examinations to achieve the target. Cheruiyot stated that out of 177 candidates who sat for last years exams 135 candidates will soon join public universities. Last year the school had 29 As, 44 A-, compared to this years performance of 14 As, 33 A- and 51 B pluses this year.  Ends …Nyamai.Nicholas
