Party leader praises the power sharing deal.
Cherangany Chama cha Uzalendo Leader Jesse Masai has commended both President Kibaki and Raila Odinga for striking a power sharing deal yesterday. Masai stated that the agreement shows both Kenyans and the international community that the country is heading towards the right direction and urged the two leaders to honour the agreement. He is now urging the government to assist the internally displaced persons return to normalcy as quickly as possible. Yesterday saw President Mwai Kibaki and ODM Leader Raila Odinga sign a historic agreement detailing the formation of a cabinet President, Vice President, Prime Minister and his two deputies only removed by parliament vote of no confidence. The deal will be taken to parliament that reconvenes on the sixth of March to enact contents of the agreement.
