Eldoret showground IDP primary school is now a registered examination centre. According to the school Principal David Karanja the centre has 218 candidates who will sit for this year’s Kenya Certificate of Primary Education examinations. Karanja added that the school whose registration centre number is 507184 was considered as an exam centre following the large number of registered candidates it has and an appeal by parents to the education council to allow pupils sit for their exams at the showground due to fear of attack. The Eldoret IDP School is however faced with challenges ranging from teacher shortage, poor sanitation and lack of enough learning materials. A month ago volunteer teachers complained of not getting their allowances yet they have to ensure they carry out their teaching  duties. Ends……………………Kentis
