Paralympics athletes who will represent the country in the forthcoming Olympic championships in Beijing, August this year are at a high level training at the Kipchoge Keino stadium in Eldoret town..The 4 athletes from Uasin Gishu district who are among 13 others have been training for the coming event since the end of the post poll violence. North rift region Paralympic sports Vice chairman Joseph Otieno says retired athletes have been offering training sessions for the paralympic athletes at the Kipchoge Keino stadium ahead of the Olympic Championships in Beijing. Otieno added that athletes who qualified in last years Olympic championships held in Algiers will represent the country in this year games. One of the athletes Stephen Wambua has been registered with the Grand prix international championships becoming the first Kenyan to join the organization, according to Otieno. A total of 13 paralympic athletes will represent Kenya in this year’s Beijing Paralympics championships to be held on the 22nd of August. End ……Maureen Mueni
