IDP students express fear of losing track of parents during relocation.
Secondary school boarding students at the Eldoret showground now fear that they may lose track of their parents if the relocation is done after they’ve left for school.
They want the process to be done faster so that they can go back to school.
They say if their parents are taken to a different destination, they will be highly inconvenienced.
They also asked well wishers to help them acquire personal effects and study materials as they go back to school.
Only today, learning activities at the Eldoret IDP Showground School were disrupted following a strike by the teachers demonstrating against government’s failure to pay voluntary teachers their dues.
