Internal refugees complain government’s laxity in helping candidates.

Parents and teachers at the Eldoret show grounds secondary camp are accusing the government for neglecting difficulties faced by registered candidates for this years Kenya national final examinations. Teachers and Parents said that the candidates are currently unable to continue with the studies well especially the projects they are supposed to move out of the camp following the on going operation Rudi Nyumbani projects. The parents said if they go back home, that they can’t afford secondary school fees for their children at their former schools thus making it hard for them to continue with their education. At the same time, Solomon Kariuki, the chairman of Eldoret show grounds secondary school revealed that the school board members are planning to take the more 300 registered candidates to St. Elizabeth Yamumbi private school located 2 kilometers away from the camp. Kariuki is now asking the government to register the school as a boarding school so as to help the students continue with their education.
