Govt’ to support the private sector, says Kalonzo
Vice President Kalonzo Musyoka has commended the complementary role played by private sectors towards ensuring that the government realizes her development goals. Musyoka noted that it was through the sector’s involvement in the economy that the country was able to make steady progress towards realizing her development agenda. He said that the private sector has helped the government in generating more jobs for the youth and reduce poverty on a sustainable basis. The vice president has therefore assured the private sector that the government would play its part in creating the necessary environment for its success saying that it has proven to be an effective engine for economic development.
