Cockar Commission continues with submissions.
In today’s hearing at the Cockar Commission of Inquiry, Interim director general public procurement oversight authority Robert Hunja said he held consultations with the Central Bank of Kenya. He says Central Bank governor Professor Njuguna Ndung’u sought advice from him regarding the sale of the hotel. Giving his evidence before the commission, Hunja said the governor wrote a letter dated April the 28th this year, upon which he replied two days later advising the bamk’s management to dispose off the hotel.
Hunja says he told Central Bank of Kenya governor did not have the title deed, of the hotel as it was still under a different country company.
