Something to smile about for people living with disability
People living with disability within Wareng county council will soon have a reason to smile. According to community development assistant officer Isack kosgey, the county council of Wareng has received a donation of 40 wheel chairs from Association of Physical Disabled of Kenya (APEK).
Kosgey revealed that they intend to distribute the wheelchairs to 27 wards within Wareng county council, through their elected councilors. He added that the council has been helping persons living with disability by sponsoring their sports events among other needs. Kosgey is now urging the public to assist the council by not hiding persons with disability but bringing them forward so that to be supported.
