Eldoret municipal council is set to place dust bins along the streets of Eldoret town starting from today. Eldoret mayor Samuel Ruto says the council has also identified smoking zones, with one being a place near Sosiani River. Meanwhile Mayor Ruto has denied claims by a section of media that the move by the council to flush out prostitutes out of the central business district was due to this harvest season which is normally associated with twilight girls, saying this is an on going process meant to clean the town. Being backed by other councilors the mayor also advised farmers to spend their money wisely and beware of the girls who travel from all parts of the nation to cone them off their money. The Eldoret municipal council has been putting up measures to ensure the town is clean by growing plants, painting of buildings among measures.
