Kalonzo rejects the Waki report

Vice president kalonzo Musyoka has joined the group of leaders that oppose the Waki report. Kalonzo says the controversial report by the Waki commission of inquiry into post election violence lacks sufficient evidence to sustain a case against anyone. The vice president stated that the cabinet will find a suitable solution to the debate without interfering with the country’s healing process from the post election violence. Kalonzo says that setting up a tribunal similar to the one on the Rwandan genocide could be a waste of time noting that such tribunals do not come up with concrete evidence that can be used in a court of law.
