Politicians blamed for the rising food prices

With the biting food prices felt in the country and across the world Kenyans are now pointing their fingers on the politicians who they say have not done enough to save the situation. Here in Eldoret residents have expressed their views on the rising food prices even after the reduction of fuel prices in the international markets. They are wondering why the members of parliament do not want to be taxed when the locals are heavily taxed with little income and are accusing the politicians of selfishness. Maize which is the stable food in Kenya is now being sold at a very high price forcing many to live by one meal a day.
