Discovery half marathon race for men set for Eldoret
All is set for this year’s discovery half marathon race for men that will take place Sunday 1 February in Eldoret town.
According to Athletics Kenya deputy national Coach David Letting, the race is aimed at promoting peace and reconciliation among different communities in the region.
The seven rounds race will start near the Eldoret general Post Office and end at the Eldoret municipal town hall grounds.
Letting noted that the race has attracted world champions who will use the race as a preparation for the World cross country to be held in Berlin later in the year.
The race will begin at 9.00 o’clock in the morning.
