Church urged to repent on behalf of government.

The church is urging its leaders in Kenya to repent on behalf of political leaders following the scandals that have hit the coalition government.

Speaking today in Showers of Blessings Fellowship in Eldoret, Rev Andrew Wafula urged leaders to pray for Kenyans who are still displaced in their own country and those facing famine.

Rev. Wafula said Kenyans lost their lives through the post-election violence adding that there’s need for the church to offer spiritual guidance to government. Concerning tribalism, Wafula says all tribes in Kenya are special before the eyes of God and called on those practicing tribalism to stop it. Wafula appealed to political leaders to continue preaching peace, love and harmony in their area of parliament so as to foster healing and reconciliation. Ends…Mike Musungu
