Scripture Union holds last day of Life skill campaign Launch
Scripture Union Kenya Western Region is today holding Life Skill Campaign Launch day aimed at creating awareness on social issues. The campaign launch has been running this week in all scripture union regions in the country under the theme, ‘Life Skill for Character development’. The North Rift Region is today holding its last day of the event at sixty four stadium Eldoret. A statement by the North Rift Regional Coordinator Pator Elly Lugwili and Chairman Tubei Kiplagat says today’s program will also create an avenue for the family to boost positive parenting and relationship management programs. The guest speaker at the function is Justice P.K.A. Birech, Governor Kenya Red Cross. The union is also championing for HIV/AIDS abstinence programs and counseling while highlighting capacity building for children and youth workers in schools and communities.
