Pay your plots rates, say Eldoret Mayor.
The Eldoret Municipal Council has introduced waivers rates to all residents who have their locality within the municipality area.Speaking to the reporters, Eldoret Mayor Samwel Ruto said starting April on 1st, the council will be collecting plot rates since they have been permitted to do so by the Minister of local government.Meanwhile, Mayor Ruto warned those house owners that have not painted their houses to do so adding that all rising building within the locality should get their plans from the council to avoid demolition.
