Geneva Meeting concludes

The Geneva meeting called by former United nations Secretary General and chief mediator in the Kenyan post election conflict Dr. Koffi Annan came to a close today.

Speaking during the closing ceremony deputy Prime Minister Musalia Mudavadi who lead the Kenyan delegation to the meeting thanked the Koffi Annan foundation for their support in gearing the way forward in the grand collation government to ensure that it works up to its full time.He refuted claim that Kenya has disengaged Koffi Annan in its businesses as its being said by some of the countries adding that they have always been in communication with him on the progress of the collation government as agreed in the national accord.He said that the formed Truth justice and reconciliation commission will be working with the Kofi Annan foundation to ensure that they get their contributions.The deputy premier asked the media to avoid being biased in their news coverage and instead be fair and do their work in good faith.On his part chief mediator Koffi Annan said that the meeting was intended to drawing lessons learnt by Kenya that will be

used in other countries in the world that might under go the same situation.Annan asked leaders in the coalition government to hasten the reforms agenda and take back Kenya on its original state.Noting that time is running out for the implementation of the reform agenda, Annan asked every Kenyan to play his part in partnership with the government in ensuring that the reforms have been fulfilled.
