Gicheru defends Judiciary over inefficiency claims
Chief Justice Evan Gicheru Thursday defended the judiciary over claims that it is not acting fast on cases before it, as stated by the Prime Minister on Wednesday. Speaking while on an official tour to Eldoret, Gicheru said the judiciary follows stipulated laws and only releases suspects according to law. The chief Justice has also noted that major reforms will be done in the judiciary including the appointment of new judges.
