MTRH receives ISO certification
In another health story Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital is now the first hospital in East Africa to have received certificate of standardization for quality service.
However Managing Director Kenya Bureau of Standards Dr Kioko Mange’li termed the neglect of patients by doctors a critical issue.
Dr. Mang’eli challenged the ministry to ensure there are statutes that govern doctors working for the government to avert such cases.
Dr. Mang’eli spoke Wednesday while issuing the certificate of International Organization of Certification to MTRH.
