Politicians advised to continue with peace building
In a separate campaign, Rehema Kenya, a non governmental organization dealing with peace has appealed to politicians to engage in dialogue and avoid the on going blame game in the grand coalition government
Speaking at a one day workshop held in Eldoret, the facilitator of the workshop Sammy Naibei blamed politicians for hindering development of the nation by not agreeing on motions that would benefit Kenyans.
Naibei added that its time the politicians stopped being selfish and focused on helping the electorate. Noting that peace has not been restored fully in some areas of the country, Naibei pointed out some areas such as Mt Elgon where the message of peace and reconciliation still needs to be preached.
He at the same time is appealing to the government to speed up matters of land reforms which he said is crucial in solving disputes in the Rift valley.
