Parents urged to take children for immunization.

Parents have been advised to ensure that their children are immunized against various diseases in the going Malezi bora campaign launched Monday in Uasin Gishu District Hospital in Eldoret. Eldoret West District Medical Officer of Health Dr. Bill Lubanga said close to 200,000 children less than 5 years, are projected to benefit from the program. Dr. Lubanga says mosquito nets will also be distributed during the campaign, to help prevent Malaria during the rainy season. He notes that most children at that age suffer from measles and diarrhea diseases and said the Malezi Bora Campaign is to assist with providing education to parents on preventive measures. Launched at Uasin Gishu District Hospital on Monday, the drive will run to the 15th this month.
