IIEC Commissioners sworn in
The Interim Independent Electoral Commission is good to go following the swearing in of its commissioners today. The 7 commissioners led by their chairman Ahmed Isaac Hassan start work tomorrow their tasks ranging from coming up with a voters register to conducting by elections. Newly appointed Justice Minister Mutula Kilonzo who was present at the ceremony today noted that the interim body would restore faith in the country’s electoral system. The 7 were sworn in before the Chief Justice Evan Gicheru.
