Former President Daniel Arap Moi has challenged the grand coalition leaders to take charge of the country if meaningful changes are to be made. Speaking at Mt. Kenya University where he was conferred an honorary doctorate degree; Moi noted that reforms would not be achieved as leaders dwelled on bickering. He appealed to wanachi to be peace loving and stand against utterances meant to stir up hate. Moi notes that the country is still healing from ethnic tensions and political differences and leaders have a responsibility to create an environment for development.
