The disability bill.
Government has been urged to review the bill for people living with disability to enable them attain their rights.
Speaking to Fish FM, a councilor Michael Manyonge of Kitale municipal council said 6 years down the line the disability bill has not been implemented. He pointed out that no one brought the motion to parliament adding that the national council for people with disability failed to push the agenda. Councilor Manyonge said they will soon demonstrate country wide to demand attention from the government if no action is taken.
The official notes that during the post election violence people with disability were not compensated yet they were also affected in the chaos.
Manyonge spoke Friday during the launch of the wheelchair basketball team game at Eldoret municipal hall.
