Youth in Eldoret have been urged to indulge themselves in various activities apart from the government initiated Kazi Kwa vijana programme. Speaking during the dissemination plan on Kenya vision 2030 workshop, Eldoret West District Development officer Martin Wekesa challenged the youth to take advantage of the youth funds and write proposals on projects that will help them better their lives. Wekesa said that this will also help the district in planning and implementing projects that will benefit the district and contribute towards the implementation of Vision 2030. The Eldoret West District Development officer revealed that the disabled youth have not been excluded in the exercise, saying this financial year’s budget has set aside 100 million shillings that will be used to purchase specialized equipment for them.
