Congestion of letters in POSTA Eldoret town branch

Residents of Eldoret town and its environs who receive postal services from the postal corporation of Kenya are being asked to check their mails frequently to avoid congestion of letters and parcels. Speaking in his office, postal corporation of Kenya Eldoret branch manager Harun Rutto said that efficiency of their services has been lowered by the large number of letters and parcels that lie uncollected at their offices.

Rutto urged members of the public who are not using their postal box numbers to surrender them. He further advised institutions to use the postal money order services which he said are cheaper and convenient to avoid long queues at banks especially during school opening days.

Noting that technology is changing, the manager said that they are planning to educate the public on their latest services and asked them to attend their progress meetings and to inquire for any information. The postal corporative of Kenya is a government parastatal with the Eldoret branch offering its services to over 10,000 clients.
