Call for the community support Children’s Village initiative
The society, non governmental organizations and corporate bodies have been urged to join hands with children organizations to support the needy children in the society. Speaking today in his office the Eldoret branch SOS village director Peter Mungai Muiruri said that the needy children in the society have special needs that have to be met. Muiruri said that as an organization they are focusing on providing love, security and an enabling family environment so as to cater for the well being of the abandoned and orphaned children around Eldoret and its environs. The Eldoret branch SOS village director revealed that their entire staff is planning to hold a fund raising exercise this Saturday the 4th of July 2009 at SOS School to garner support for the children’s welfare.
