Kenya to sponsor World Climate Conference
All is set for the 3rd world climate conference in Geneva.
The conference scheduled for August this year is geared towards ensuring adoption and mitigation of climate change strategies.
Environment assistant minister Ramadhan Kajembe said that the conference will also enable policy makers, researchers and other stakeholder’s access and implement climate prediction services.
Kajembe said that the outcome of the meeting will greatly assist Kenya in national planning programmes.
Kenya is one of the two African countries who are sponsoring
this year’s 3rd World Climate Conference in Geneva.
