Police gun down 6 suspects in Nairobi
Six suspects were gunned down by police in the plush Gigiri area in Nairobi today morning. Police say they ambushed a gang of eight along Thigiri road after a tip off from members of the public. But acting on a tip off from members of the public, police trailed the men and killed six of them after a shoot out. Two suspects managed to escape. Meanwhile, three people were also killed early today in Kibera after a wall collapsed, landing on them.
The deceased included a 25 year old man and two girls aged 10 and 12.
Six people were rushed to hospital with injuries following the incident near the Raila Odinga Centre.
