Rongai District Commissioner Benjamin Nzioka was this morning arraigned in Kericho Anti corruption court where he was charged with 5 counts of corruption.
The senior principal Magistrate Walter Nyamira released the accused on a cash bail of 100,000 shillings and a bond of 200,000 shillings.

Bees attack leaves a student dead and teacher injured

A primary school teacher at Matugen primary school in Keiyo
South district has been admitted at Kaptarakwa hospital after he was stung by bees at the school compound yesterday afternoon.
 
The incident also lead to the death of a nursery school boy Kelvin Kimutai who was playing near the school when the bees invaded the compound.
